Main CourseBest Fast Sandwich Shops
The fast food sandwich shop has exploded in popularity lately and is often one of the busiest places to get lunch during a busy work day or evening. The appeal of these places is easyò€”they often offer a lot of food for a low price plus they are quick in preparing your sandwich so you can get in and out without hassle. Don"t gamble on your lunch like you would with a poker chip. Here is a list of the best fast sandwich shops around that you should check out.
Subway
The most popular and most successful sandwich shop, largely because of their impressive and enviable public relations and advertising campaigns (hey Jerod!) few can compete with Subway for size of sandwich, price and speed. While Subway is good, the thing with their shops is that they can be hit or miss depending on the employees and the freshness. In most downtown areas you will find the best Subway locations but also some of the longest lines. You canò€™t go wrong with their signature five dollar footlongs, though.
Potbellyò€™s
Potbellyò€™s is actually a little cheaper even than Subway but their sandwhiches are slightly smaller in length but make u for it with a lot more meat inside. Potbellyò€™s is not as fast as Subway, either, and has a different system for choose what sort of toppings you want on your sandwich but they have been impressing me lately with their great variety of sandwiches and the amount of meat and condiments they put in each order. Potbellyò€™s also distinguishes itself with a special line of deserts like milkshakes which seem to be very popular.
Erbert Gerbert"s
EGò€™s sets itself apart as being a slightly more upperclass sandwich and soup shop for those that arenò€™t in a huge rush but are still looking for a fast turnaround and low price on their order. They have a fine selection of sandwich options which are fairly priced around the same as both Potbellyò€™s and Subway but they just donò€™t have the personality or specialty items to really set them above and beyond the other shops.
